Ajax Rejected Arsenal’s Bid For Top Defender

In the summer, Ajax turned down an offer from Arsenal for Lisandro Martinez, according to Ajax CEO Edwin van der Sar, who spoke to The Times.

After Erik ten Hag left the team, the Dutchman claimed that they did not want to let Lisandro Martinez and Antony go, but ultimately both players ended up at Manchester United.

Chelsea Consider Sending Slonina On Loan

According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea is considering sending goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina out on loan in January for his further development.

The American goalkeeper signed with the Blues in the summer before returning on loan to Chicago Fire in the MLS. He moved back to London earlier this month, and last week he began working out with the team.

Jeremie Frimpong is a player that Manchester United sent scouts to observe in case they decide to sign him in January.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Dutch full-back, whose deal with Bayer Leverkusen expires in 2025, is also being pursued by a number of other European clubs.
