It was surprising to see Kepa dropped completely from the team after chelsea lost to Liverpool during the day cup final.
Little did we know Kepa being dropped was not due to his Performance during the final it was an instruction Legendary chelsea goalkeeper Petr cech gave Thomas Tuchel at that point.
According to Matt Law, Petr cech specifically told Tuchel to stop his cup games rotation policy and use Eduardo Mendy all through the season which affected Kepa ability to play as cup games were his only opportunity he had to play for chelsea.
Given that Mendy was class in the games he played last season Tuchel had no reason to complain as Mendy always gave top tier Performances in the games he played.
