Frank Lampard has been speaking to the media ahead of a Champions League night at Stamford Bridge tomorrow night.
His side take on Krasnodar having already won their group last week by thrashing Sevilla.
The Blues boss was taking questions about his new signings, and Kai Havertz in particular came up. Having just recovered from Covid-19, the German international is taking some time to get back into the swing of things.
Lampard has no concerns whatsoever, and he even revealed that Havertz suffered with Covid a little bit more than many of us had realised, pointing towards his recovery from it taking a lot longer to regain his stride on the pitch.
Lampard is confident that Havertz will become one of the best players in the world for club and country.
A big and bold shout, but it is a shout from someone in the most perfect position to claim it. A man who watches him train every day, and a man who was one of the best midfielders to ever play the game.
