Arsenal handed Dominik Szoboszlai boost
Reports from German outlet Bild have suggested that Premier League giant Arsenal have been given some hope in their pursuit of RB Salzburg attacking midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.
The 20-year-old, who has bagged eight goals and nine assists in 18 games this season, is understood to be near the top of Mikel Arteta’s wishlist.

Arsenal ‘join Wolves’ in £125m transfer race

Arsenal board to launch new bid for Aouar in January
Arsenal are reportedly expected to return for Lyon attacking midfielder Houssem Aouar when the transfer window reopens next month.
The north London failed with two bids earlier this summer and instead secured the acquisition of Thomas Partey on transfer deadline day from Atletico Madrid, after triggering his £45million release clause at La Liga HQ.
It’s no secret that Gunners boss Mikel Arteta was set on landing Aouar, who was his top transfer target but the club were unable to negotiate a deal with Lyon chief Jean-Michel Aulas.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, claim the Gunners are expected to try and broker a deal for Aouar at the third time of asking.
‘I think they will try again for sure,’ he told The Arsenal Lounge: ‘Now we have to know what will happen with [Dominik] Szoboszlai, they are waiting on his final decision.
‘But immediately after Szoboszlai signs with another club, they could move again for Aouar. They have already spoke with his agent.
‘It is not easy to sign Aouar in January, but he is at the top of the list for Arsenal. He’s a favourite for Arteta, it’s the same for the board. So, yes, in my opinion they will try again.’
Mikel Arteta provided an injury updates on Thomas Partey
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta insists Thomas Partey’s injury setback was not because he was rushed back by the club for their north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.
Partey, 27, will ‘miss the next few matches’ because of a recurrence of his recent thigh issue, MikelArteta confirmed on Wednesday ahead of their Europa League clash with Dundalk.
The 2-0 defeat by Spurs was Partey’s first appearance in almost a month and Mikel Arteta said: ‘He did incredibly well and was very confident.
‘We tested him three times and he had zero incidents. In football you have a lot of unpredictable actions.’
