Tottenham vs Arsenal to get a score prediction for the North London DerbyTottenham Hotspur host fierce rivals Arsenal this weekend, but what will the final score be? We used FIFA 21 to find out.

Tottenham Hotspur are favourites to beat local rivals Arsenal in the first North London derby of 2020/21.

In addition to their contrasting league form, with Spurs sitting top of the table and Arsenal down in 14th, the Gunners have won just one of their last 12 Premier League games against their local rivals. Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is also unbeaten against Arsenal in his last 10 meetings.

Mikel Arteta’s side will be without Gabriel Martinelli through injury and Nicolas Pepe through suspension, with both Thomas Partey and David Luiz injury doubts.

Spurs have a number of injury concerns, with Erik Lamela ruled out and the likes of Hugo Lloris, Toby Alderweireld, Sergio Reguilon, Harry Kane and Carlos Vinicius all carrying knocks.

We used FIFA 21 to get a unique score prediction. This is what happened.

Spurs vs Arsenal score predicted using FIFA 21

To set up this simulation, we used kick-off mode within FIFA 21 but didn’t select a team to control; we then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself. The AI difficulty was set to legendary, with the line-up updated with the latest transfers, injuries and suspensions.

We predict that Spurs could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with the line-up as follows: Hart; Aurier, Alderweireld, Dier, Reguilon; Sissoko, Hojbjerg; Bergwijn, Ndombele, Son; Kane.

We predict that Arsenal could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with the line-up as follows: Leno; Bellerin, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Xhaka, Ceballos; Willian, Lacazette, Saka; Aubameyang.

In our simulated game, the first-half was a quiet, tight affair, but it all kicked off in the second-half.

Ten minutes after the break, Arsenal scored with their first shot on target in the entire game. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang played the ball wide to Willian, who cut inside and smashed the ball into the near post, but Joe Hart should have done much better.

But despite dominating possession, the Gunners weren’t controlling the game overall, with Spurs looking the far more dangerous side going forwards.

Ten minutes after the away side opened the scoring, Spurs got a deserved equaliser, with Tanguy Ndombele playing a brilliant pass for Harry Kane, who stroked the ball past Bernd Leno to make it 1-1.

Jose Mourinho’s side had a number of chances to take the lead, with Steven Bergwijn and Kane having shots saved by Leno, but eventually, they found a winner.

In the 89th minute, a quick short corner routine from Spurs proved to be Arsenal’s undoing, with Giovani Lo Celso playing a quick pass to substitute Gareth Bale inside the area, who beat Bukayo Saka and fired into the far corner with his weaker right foot.

Tottenham had done it, beating their fierce rivals and cementing their place at the top of the table.
